Mazda CX-30 Tire Pressure Recommendation

December 9th, 2020 by

The impact of Mazda CX-30 Tire Pressure

Your Mazda CX-30’s tire pressure has a recommended average of 36psi (pounds per square inch).

Having the correct Mazda CX-30 Tire Pressure is more important than you probably realize as it impacts your whole driving experience.

If it is either too high or too low, it will have an effect on your fuel economy. This will mean you’re not getting the most for your money and we all know gas ain’t cheap! It also means that you are more likely to end up with a flat or damaged tire which can be dangerous to drive on.

Simply put; your ride just won’t be as smooth as it should be.

We know it can be difficult to know if your tires are at the right pressure and can be daunting to check yourself, especially if you don’t know what your tire pressure should be, or you haven’t done it before.

If you are not sure whether the tire pressure on your CX-30 is right, bring it to us here at Fresno Mazda and we will happily carry out a tire service for you. As part of the service, we will check your tire pressure and tread, while also making sure they are in good shape.

How to add air to your Mazda CX-30 tires

If your tires need some air, take your car to the nearest gas station that has an air compressor (the closer the better so the tires don’t get too warm). You should be able to set the pressure rating you want on the compressor. Take the cap off the valve and apply the compressor hose. At this point, it will tell you what the pressure of your tire currently is and will add air until you reach your desired rating.

Replacing your tires: when you need to and what you should do

It is important that you carry out regular tire maintenance.
While your car will let you know if the CX-30’s tire pressure is too low, it will not remind you to check your tires regularly. This can be as simple as just inspecting your tires for tread, any possible punctures or damage. It is recommended you check your tires about once a month and especially around changing seasons.
If you have a damaged tire, you are going to need to get it replaced or repaired as soon as possible. We can do this for you here at Fresno Mazda. We will try and repair the tire for you where this is possible to avoid the need to buy a new tire. Our friendly experts are trained to advise you what the best option is for you.
